SARASOTA — The buying binge continues to roll on at Arrow Environmental Services.

The latest acquisition, which closed last week according to a release, was an $800,000 deal for Fort Myers-based Can Eliminate Pest Control. Sarasota-based Arrow has now bought eight pest control firms in the past five months, and a dozen more over the past two years.

The recent run of new acquisitions spreads from Inverness in Citrus County south to Naples. It also vaults Arrow into the top 70 on the list of the largest pest control firms nationwide ranked by Pest Control Technology magazine. The firm now has more than $11 million in annual sales.

“We realize that acquiring more customers won't help us if we don't keep these new customers satisfied,” Arrow Chairman George Pickhardt says in a release. “Our overarching goal as a company is to have long-term, successful relationships with our customers. That is the best measure of our success.”
