Atlanta-based Pollack Shores Real Estate Group has started construction on the NOHO Flats at North Hyde Park. The developer plans to create a new 311-unit apartment community at 405 N. Rome St., Tampa just west of downtown Tampa. The $36.7 million development is adjacent to the 20-acre site of the future Tampa General Hospital rehabilitation center.

The NOHO Flats at North Hyde Park is scheduled to open fall 2013.

“We are excited about the dynamic growth of urban residential living in Tampa's downtown,” Steven Shores, president at Pollack Shores Real Estate Group, says in a press release.

Designed by Poole and Poole Architecture, NOHO Flats will include a fountain courtyard with fire pits and outside seating and a swimming pool with fountain and outdoor grill area. It will also feature a lounge area kitchen and bar, fitness center and large club room with a separate conference/dining room.
