Hospital OK'd for Medicare

FORT MYERS — The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration has granted Park Royal Hospital a license to accept patients with Medicare coverage.

The 76-bed psychiatric hospital recently opened at the HealthPark campus in Fort Myers and has been licensed by the state since February.

The licensure to approve Medicare reimbursement was granted May 3. Medicare is the federal health-insurance program for older people.
