PLANS, DESCRIPTION: RT Holdings of Sarasota LLC, a company owned by Sarasota's Arthur Jacoby, purchased the 5,993-square-foot Tropical Car Wash & Auto Salon for $1.5 million.

The price equated to $251 per square foot.

The 12-year-old car wash is located in the Plaza at Palmer Ranch. Calls to Tropical Car Wash & Auto Salon were not returned prior to deadline.

RT Holdings of Sarasota mortgaged the property to Synovus Bank for $1.13 million.
