SARASOTA — At its annual convention in June, the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRSA) installed Brad Sutter as its 91st president.

Sutter, executive vice president of Sarasota-based Sutter Roofing, was installed by his father, Stephen Sutter, who served as the organization's 80th president.

“The roofing industry has provided the livelihood of the Sutter family for over a hundred years,” Sutter says in a release. “I am proud to follow in the footsteps of my father and the many other talented men and women who have served as past presidents of this organization.”

During his tenure as president, Sutter will focus on matters affecting roofing contractors in the state, such as building codes and other governmental and regulatory issues.

Sutter roofing began operating in Florida in 1979, and has locations in Sarasota, Tampa, Fort Myers and Orlando.
