TAMPA -- MyMatrixx, a pharmacy and medical benefits management firm, named Artemis Emslie as its new president this week.

Emslie is the founder of ProspeRx Solutions, a consulting firm that uses workers' compensation claims data to maximize efficiency for its pharmacy clients.

Tampa-based myMatrixx was named to the Inc. 5000 list in 2011, after revenues grew from $20.9 million in 2007 to $49 million in 2010, a 135% jump. Headquartered just north of Tampa International Airport, the firm led by Founder and CEO Steven MacDonald had more than 100 employees in 2010.

Like Emslie's ProspeRx, myMatrixx also focuses on the workers' compensation market to reduce costs and improve outcomes for pharmacies that serve injured workers.
