Too bad Collier County let this promising young technology company get away.

Proximus Mobility, the software company that recently relocated its headquarters to Atlanta from Naples, says it has received $2 million in venture funding to grow its operations.

The company says it relocated to Atlanta earlier this year because of the lower cost of doing business there. It produces software for retailers and other businesses to reach customers via their cell phones.
