PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Dr. William Cole, of the Sarasota pain and sports medicine clinic Ortho Med Pain Relief Centers, and his wife, Maria, purchased the 8,280-square-foot former Century 21 Advantage office building on Bee Ridge Road for $900,000.
The price equated to $109 per square foot.
Glenn Brown of RE/Max Alliance Group represented the seller and Nick Porter of Re/Max Alliance Group represented the buyer.
Cole plans to occupy the 4,140-square-foot first floor of the building and lease out the second level, according to Brown. The first floor features a lobby, 17 offices, two conference rooms and four bathrooms. The second floor includes a training room, 18 offices and four bathrooms.
“It's a concrete block building with great exposure on Bee Ridge,” Brown says.
Calls to Cole's office were not returned prior to deadline.
The purchase entity Empire Building Ventures LLC mortgaged the property to Regions Bank for $765,000.
