JetBlue adds flights to LGA

NEW YORK — JetBlue Airways says it plans to start service from New York's LaGuardia Airport to the three largest airports on the Gulf Coast starting June 11.

JetBlue will offer one new daily flight between LaGuardia and Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers and one new daily flight between LaGuardia and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport starting this summer. In addition, JetBlue announced two daily flights from LaGuardia to Tampa International Airport.

JetBlue recently expanded to LaGuardia Airport and is doubling service from that location after it won additional landing slots through an auction held by the Federal Aviation Administration.
