Reliant Group investment fund buys Woodbury Apartments

SELLER: WREI Woodbury LLC

PROPERTY: 955 E. 53rd St., Bradenton

PRICE: $11.2 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $8.3 million, November 2010

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, San Francisco

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: CAP VI- Eden Pointe, an affiliated fund of The Reliant Group, purchased the 270-unit Woodbury Apartments in Bradenton for $11.2 million.

The price equated to $41,481 per unit.

The apartment community was built in 1995, on 27 acres. Units in the 264,846-square-foot development offer an average of 980 square feet of living space, according to the CoStar Group. It features laundry facilitates, basketball and tennis courts, a clubhouse, and a playground.

The Reliant Group focuses its investments on affordable and market rate multifamily housing and has completed more than $1.8 billion in transactions.
