LAW FIRM ON DEED: Dunlap & Moran PA, Sarasota

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A local Casey Key property owner, operating as On The Beach Casey Key LLC, purchased the 17-unit Wishing Well Beach To Bay Resort for $1.1 million.

The price equated to $64,706 per unit.

The motel property is on the Gulf side of Casey Key Road and features four boat docks.

Jag Grewal and Michele Fuller of Ian Black Real Estate and Angelia Young of A. Young Realty Group handled the transaction.

“It was in bad shape,” Grewal says. “It's on a really nice piece of property; a real diamond in the rough. There was a ton of deferred maintenance, but you should see that change very very quickly.”

The Mains family has owned the motel since the late '70s. When Robert Mains passed away recently, the trustees for the estate sold the property.
