PROPERTY: 4702 W. Cortez Road, Bradenton

PRICE: $1.03 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $2.14 million, May 2005

TITLE FIRM ON DEED: Barnes Walker Title Inc., Bradenton

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Inches Fitness, led by Maryellen Patterson of Bradenton, purchased a 7,600-square-foot freestanding commercial building in Pinebook Commons for $1.03 million.

The price equated to $135 per square foot.

The new owner is remodeling the former First Priority Bank branch into a new fitness center for women. The new facility is scheduled to open in January. Originally constructed in 1989, the building occupies a 0.95-acre parcel.

Sherry Flathman of Wagner Realty represented the buyer, and Debra Cooper of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group represented the seller.
