Tampa attorney Consuegra buys nearly vacant Sabal building

BUYER: Consuegra Properties LLC (Daniel Consuegra), Tampa

SELLER: FLA Owner LLC

PROPERTY: 9210 King Palm Drive, Tampa

PRICE: $2.1 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $46.78 million, July 2005 (multiple parcels)

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Driver McAfee Peek & Hawthorne PL, Jacksonville

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A purchase entity led by Tampa attorney Daniel Consuegra purchased a 44,533-square-foot office building for $2.1 million.

The price equated to $47 per square foot.

Ace Homecare, the building's only tenant at the time of the sale, is leasing 5,759 square feet through August, but the two remaining suites, a combined 38,774 square feet, were vacant.

Consuegra did not return calls for comment prior to deadline.

The purchase entity Consuegra Properties LLC mortgaged the property to Bank of America NA for $1.68 million.
