Chamber names president

PORT CHARLOTTE — Banker Marcia Cullinan has been named president of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. Her one-year term begins Oct. 1.

Cullinan, vice president of residential lending with Encore National Bank, has been a member of the business organization for eight years including president-elect most recently.

“Our goal this year is to achieve and sustain greatness, while growing and retaining our 1,200 membership base,” Cullinan says in a statement.

A residential-mortgage lender with Encore, Cullinan covers the region from Sun City Center to Naples. Besides the chamber, Cullinan is involved in other nonprofit organizations, including the American Cancer Society and Take Stock in Children.
