LPL Financial opens locally

BRADENTON — Wealth adviser Gardner Sherill has partnered with LPL Financial to open a local financial services firm in downtown Bradenton, he announces in a release.

Sherrill, who was a winner of the Business Review's 40 under 40 in 2006, has been a financial planner for 17 years, most recently with Wells Fargo and Northern Trust.

Sherrill Wealth Management, which has a new location at Third Avenue West in Bradenton, will offer concierge financial services through LPL Financial.

In the release, Sherrill says as more firms consolidate operations in Sarasota, he felt there was a need for more concierge-level services in Bradenton.
