PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Englewood businessman Michael Thompson purchased a 30,620-square-foot freestanding retail building on 4.27 acres for $830,000. The price equated to $27.11 per square foot.

The 21-year-old building, which previously housed Home Comfort Furnishings, was vacant at the time of the sale. It features three tenant spaces, including an 18,000-square-foot tenant unit with 14,625 square feet of air-conditioned showroom space. The other two units are 4,050 square feet each.

Ronald Struthers of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT represented the seller. Struthers says the buyer owns a business, and he plans to occupy the building.

“It was just a great price, and excellent opportunity for an end user,” Struthers says.
