Longboat Key marina signs deal

LONGBOAT KEY — Cannons Marina in Longboat Key is now the exclusive dealer of boats built by Jupiter Marine International for Florida's West Coast, a marina release says.

Palmetto-based Jupiter Marine had been talking with Cannons about an exclusive representation deal for three years, according to David and Lucy Miller, Cannons' co-owners.

“We like having close and personal relationships with our manufacturers,” David Miller says, “so we are happy to align ourselves with a reputable local company like Jupiter.”

Headquartered at 1103 E. 12th Ave., Jupiter Marine is led by president Carl Herndon. Cannons Marina is located at 6040 Gulf of Mexico Drive in Longboat Key.
