PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Sarasota serial entrepreneur Manuel Rebecchi purchased an 8,775-square-foot industrial warehouse building on Gantt Avenue north of Palmer Boulevard for $324,000.

The price equated to $37 per square foot.

Built in 1981, the warehouse occupies a 0.93-acre site.

Rebecchi plans to consolidate his four companies, Americar Auto Parts LLC, Hydrogen Solution LLC, Global Express USA LLC and Corpmark USA LLC, into the Gantt building. The companies previously operated from a small warehouse building off Cattlemen Road and from a home office. Rebecchi also plans to create separate office facilities in a portion of the building for Corpmark, a company devoted to helping foreign entrepreneurs open businesses in the United States.

“We are planning to offer executive suites, but only to foreign business owners,” says Pamela Clark, director of operations for all four companies. “This is really designed to marry all of our companies into a single building.”

Global Express is a product forwarding service for international consumers. Americar Auto Parts sells American vehicle parts overseas. Hydrogen Solution sells a hydrogen fuel cell generator kit for gasoline vehicles.
