Norris opens Naples showroom

NAPLES -- Norris Home Furnishings opened a new showroom in Naples, at 5015 Tamiami Trail N.

It's the company's third new showroom opening in 18 months, according to owner Larry Norris. The furniture retailer has hired 66 new employees to staff those new locations.

In 1998, Norris sold his first furniture business, Norris Furniture & Interiors, to Hendricks Furniture Group for an undisclosed sum. At the time, the company was generating $15 million in annual sales from two showrooms (see “Off the Couch,” Aug. 5).
