Mercedes-Benz owner buys Westview warehouse

PRICE: $1.05 million

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Automotive Management Services Inc., a subsidiary of The Better Body Shop & Used Car Factory Inc., purchased a 13,140-square-foot warehouse building near Airport Pulling Road South for $1.05 million.

The price equated to $80 per square foot.

Built in 1970, the building features 17 overhead doors and a paved and fenced yard for secure outdoor storage.

The West Palm Beach-based dealership company purchased the building and 1.06-acre parcel for the Mercedes-Benz of Naples next door.

Michael Carr of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT's Naples office represented the seller.

“The Mercedes dealership needed another building, and they paid dearly for it,” Carr says. “They will be renovating the building as a body shop repair building. The high price just came down to location, location, location.”

The purchase entity The Better Body Shop & Used Car Factory Inc. mortgaged the property to Bank of America NA for $1.05 million.
