Fort Myers home prices up 3%

Home prices in Cape Coral-Fort Myers were up 3% over the year at the end of September, according to the latest estimate issued by CoreLogic.

In Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, home prices are down 9.9% over the year, CoreLogic says, and in North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota prices fell 5.3%.

Florida ranked 17th in terms of the average change in home prices for the month, with a 3.8% drop statewide. Nevada had the largest drop, with a 12.4% over-the-year decrease.
