Healthy franchise hits Brandon

BRANDON — Happy & Healthy Products, a Boca Raton-based health food retailer with operations in 25 states, opened in Brandon last week. Dorothy Page owns the network's newest franchise.

Entrepreneur Magazine ranks the company as a top low-cost franchise under $50,000. “Our franchises are ideal for entrepreneurial people who want to own a fun and flexible business, and incur little overhead costs during the whole process,” Happy & Healthy President Linda Kamm says in a release.

After entering into a franchise agreement with Happy & Healthy, Page received at least 10 guaranteed accounts to start her business, 10 custom freezers, 80 cases of product, promotional material and a one-week training session on the company's products and sales process, a release says.

Earlier this month, the parent company announced that it is hoping to expand into the Sarasota-Bradenton market in the near future.
