Transportation group seeks veto

Floridians for Better Transportation wants Gov. Rick Scott to veto part of the Legislature's proposed $69.7 billion budget and put back $150 million into the state transportation budget.

Calling it “A really bad idea,” in a broadcasted email, the Tallahassee-based transportation funding advocacy group cites the state's 1 million unemployed as a primary reason to keep the funds in the transportation trust fund.
