PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Glen and Barbara Yudman purchased a 19,843-square-foot automotive strip center on Nebraska for $925,000.

The price equated to $47 per square foot.

The Yudmans own the auto repair business Running Great Automotive, which occupies 8,000 square feet in the center.

“We've been there for 15 years,” says Glen Yudman. “You never know what can happen [when you lease]. We wanted to take away that uncertainty.”

The 22-year-old building also houses an automotive glass company and a vehicle signage company. The Yudmans expect to expand their business by another 2,000 square feet and are looking to lease out another 6,000 square feet in the center.

The buying entity Yudman Properties Inc. mortgaged the property to SunTrust Bank in two loans totaling $790,000.
