Florida Gov. Rick Scott spared the Florida Citrus Commission from overhauls that hit many other state agencies, apparently satisfied with the leadership of that organization.

The governor reappointed five of seven members to the Florida Citrus Commission, a board that oversees and guides the Florida Department of Citrus.

One new member of the commission is Michael Haycock, 61, of Longboat Key. He's the vice president of operations for Tropicana Products and his term will expire May 31, 2014.

Scott also reappointed Michael Taylor, 64, the vice president of agriculture for Collier Enterprises in Naples. His term also will expire in 2014.
