FORT MYERS — Oasis Associates LLC sold 224 units in Tower II of Oasis Condominium to Lofton Island Holdings LLP for $36.7 million. Lofton Island is based in Canada.

The property was originally developed by The Related Group, which is led by President and CEO Jorge Perez. Perez was profiled in a Business Review feature in November.

“Oasis is a high quality property and fits well with our Florida acquisition strategy,” said Jim Spatz, a partner at Lofton Island. The firm also owns The Place at Channelside in Tampa, The Sage in St. Petersburg, and Downtown Dadeland in Miami.

Oasis Condominium is located near the River District in downtown Fort Myers.
