Collier County has the reputation of being one of the toughest places to do business on the Gulf Coast, but don't take our word for it.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal recently touted the fact that Naples-based Proximus Mobility will relocate its corporate headquarters to Atlanta, promising to create 100 new jobs there in the next three years.

The mobile-phone marketing company cited Atlanta's lower cost of doing business among the reasons for leaving Naples. It also cited the Georgia city's larger pool of technology talent and prospective clients.

Proximus says it plans to partner with Georgia Institute of Technology's Advanced Technology Development Center and begin operations in Technology Square in midtown Atlanta.
