BUYER: Lowman Beacon Woods LLC (principals: Beverly and Matthew Lowman), Brooksville


SELLER: Beacon Woods Golf Club Inc.


PROPERTY: 12507 Clock Tower Parkway, Bayonet Point


PRICE: $1.74 million


LAW FIRM ON DEED: Fowler White Boggs PA, Tampa


PLANS, DESCRIPTION: The Links Golf Club owner Matt Lowman purchased the nearby Beacon Woods Golf Club for $1.74 million.


The property included a clubhouse and 18-hole golf course, with driving range, sand bunker and putting green


Lowman has been trying to buy the course since 2008. Two lawsuits with a rebuffed former suitor for the club properties delayed the closing for two years.


Calls to Lowman at both clubs were not returned prior to deadline.
