Fawley Bryant, Willis Smith hired for LECOM dental

The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine has hired Fawley Bryant Architects to design the new the LECOM School of Dental Medicine building. Willis A. Smith Construction Co. has been retained to manage its construction. Work is scheduled to start in early June.


The LECOM School of Dental Medicine is scheduled to enroll its first 100 students in 2012. The college plans to invest $52 million dollars to develop the new dental school in Manatee County. The new school will employ nearly 200 people, including dental faculty, administrators and dental hygienists, along with technical, administrative and support staff.
