Defense-minded manufacturer Dynamic Innovations LLC will move to a larger facility to make room for 100 new employees over the next year. A $41,000 performance-based incentive grant, approved today by Manatee County Commissioners, will help pay for the transition.

Headquartered in Palmetto, Dynamic currently has 15 employees, according to company President Alan Taylor.

Beyond the support provided by the county, Dynamic's growth plans are fueled by an investment made by Demmer Corp. in April, at which point the Lansing, Mich.-based company acquired a 90% stake in the Palmetto firm.

To receive the grant money approved by Manatee County, Dynamic must pay its new employees an average wage that is at least 115% of the county average, according to county administrator Ed Hunzeker.
