Update: Joseph Lopano has accepted the board's offer, and will become CEO of Tampa International Airport on Jan. 1, 2011. Lopano will earn $250,000 a year in base salary.
From Sept. 29:
Joseph Lopano was selected to be the next executive director of Tampa International Airport by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority board. Lopano replaces Louis Miller, who vacated the position in March.
