SELLER: Snow Diversified Inc. fka Gulf Coast Trailers Inc.


PROPERTY: 8381 and 8375 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota


PRICE: $795,000


PREVIOUS PRICE: $210,000, March 1997 and $190,000, October 1997

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: The Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority purchased 1.6 acres for $795,000.


The price equated to $496,875 per acre. The land is next to the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport on Tamiami Trail, near Seagate Drive.


Trailer Depot of Sarasota, which sells and services trailers, parts and accessories, currently occupies the site.


“We are always looking for opportunities to add to the land bank for the future,” says Fred Piccolo, the airport's president and chief executive. “There was an existing lessee on the property and the pricing was right. We're planning to continue to operate it as it has been. The only change will be that the rent payment will come to the airport.”
