PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Tampa-based Maxcy Development Group purchased a 0.78-acre lot near Rand Blvd. and Thinger Court next to OfficeMax in Palmer Crossing for $4 million. The purchase price equated to $5.16 million per acre. Maxcy Development Group, which developed the shopping center, has been under contract to buy the property for an expansion of Palmer Crossing for several years.


The property has been designated for a future 32,000-square-foot development.


Located at the corner of Clark Road and Honore Avenue, the 36-acre Palmer Crossing center is anchored by Sweetbay Supermarket, OfficeMax and Beall's Department Store.
