Neal opens Central Park

Neal Communities announced plans to start building homes in Central Park in Lakewood, a new Lakewood Ranch community. The 380-acre community is expected to house 800 single-family homes. The homes, built by Bruce Williams Homes and Neal Communities, will start at $126,990.

Neal Communities converted a pasture to create the community. More than 4,420 trees, 46,200 grasses and 46,800 bare root aquatic plants were planted to restore and upgrade wetlands.

Central Park in Lakewood will feature shaded picnic areas, a covered pavilion, a baseball field, a children's adventure playground and a splash-park with fountains. It will also feature tennis courts, dog parks, a gazebo, public art and a concession area with restrooms.
