GAP Engineering, Planning hired by Lindvest for village

GAP Engineering & Planning LLC announced plans to spearhead a village-style development on 450 acres in the northeast corner of Sarasota County for Lindvest Communities Inc. of Toronto. The developer is currently seeking development rights for the project.

GAP will oversee all phases of planning, engineering, construction and development for the multi-neighborhood community. That includes initial construction plans, permitting and land planning.

Dover Kohl & Partners is the planner for the project. Glatting Jackson Kercher Anglin Planners, which worked with Sarasota County to produce the Sarasota 2050 Comprehensive Plan, has also been retained for the development.
