PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Albert and Zuzana Shaw, owners of the OZA Cafe in Venice, purchased the 20-unit Gulf Breeze Inn near U.S. 41 and the Venice Bypass. The $700,000 purchase price equated to $35,000 per unit.
The 10,331-square-foot motel was originally built in 1957. The motel also features a four-bedroom home for the complex manager. Calls to the Shaws were not returned prior to publication.
The purchase entity Oza Inn LLC mortgaged the property to Community Bank of Manatee for $560,000.
