PLANS, DESCRIPTION: The First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres purchased two religious buildings between Sunshine and Lee boulevards totaling 31,254 square feet. The $3.3 million purchase price equated to $106 per square foot. The 4.96-acre parcel features a 17,682-square-foot sanctuary that was built in 1995. The second building is 13,572 square feet and features classroom and daycare space. It was originally built in 1982.

The property previously housed the New Life Assembly of God Church.

First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres currently operates from 1102 E. Leeland Heights Blvd. Lehigh Acres.
