PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Veterinarians Donna McWilliams and Mark Downing purchased the 2,626-square-foot Sarasota Animal Hospital building for $850,000. The sales price equated to $324 per square foot of building space.

Downing and McWilliams run the small animal medical practice My Pet's Animal Hospital in Lakeland, and Downing has since joined the staff at Sarasota Animal Hospital.

Sarasota Animal Hospital is a small-animal veterinary hospital that provides medical, surgical and dental care. The facility houses a pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, a hospitalization area and indoor boarding kennels.
