Nov. 11

Emerging trends in real estate: The Urban Land Institute Southwest Florida and Pricewaterhouse Coopers will host a meeting on real-estate trends from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Three Oaks Banquet & Conference Center, 20991 Three Oaks Parkway, Estero. The speakers will be Chuck DiRocco, managing director of industry trends and analysis at the Urban Land Institute, and Shawn Poole, regional director at Hanley Wood Market Intelligence. Investment opportunities: The Gulf Coast Venture Forum will host its membership meeting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Tiburon Golf Clubhouse, 2620 Tiburon Drive, Naples. Redevelopment projects: The International Council of Shopping Centers will host a panel discussion on how to achieve success in redevelopment projects. The meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the Tampa InterContinental Hotel, 4860 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa. The program will include guest speakers Todd Mullins of Hawkins Construction Inc.; Peter Pensa of the AVID Group; and Michael Leeds of RMC Property Group. Dec. 9

Lee County government: The Real Estate Investment Society will hold a luncheon with the chair of the Lee County Commission. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve Clubhouse on Colonial Boulevard, a mile east of Interstate 75, Fort Myers.
