June 12: CoolTech 2008: The Tampa Bay Technology Forum will host an event to highlight the coolest new technologies including smart phones, self-driving cars, real time speech translation and robotics. The event will run from 3 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St., Tampa. The keynote speaker is Russell Romanella, the director of the International Space Station at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
