Green Construction: The Urban Land Institute's Southwest Florida chapter is hosting a meeting in Fort Myers on "green" construction. Speakers include Dennis Church, vice president of planning for Bonita Bay Group, and Ted Sottong, vice president of architecture with Architecture Inc. Landlords and Tenant rights: The Young Lawyers Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Selby Public Library will hold a free rental housing information session from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the library, 1331 First St., Sarasota. The meeting will focus on resolving disputes, handling evictions, subletting, and deposit and other rent requirements. Attorneys Kevin R. Bruning of Williams, Parker, Harrison, Dietz & Getzen and Nancy Cason of Syprett, Meshad, Resnick, Lieb, Dumbaugh, Jones, Krotec & Westheimer, P.A., will address the rights and responsibilities of the landlord and the tenant as well as demonstrate common litigation issues that arise between the two. A Luncheon with Dawna Stone: The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce will hold a Women's Series Luncheon with Dawn Stone, founder and publisher of the national women's magazine, Her Sports + Fitness.
