Breakfast with the representative: State Rep. Michael Grant will be the keynote speaker at a breakfast meeting of the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County. In addition, Gary Moyer and Karen Cook of Lion's Gate Development will update the Proscenium mixed-use project in Sarasota. Breakfast will start at 7:45 a.m. at the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort in Longboat Key. Cost is $20 for members; $30 for nonmembers.
