The Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is presenting a series of workshops to help small to medium-sized businesses increase revenues and profits. The subject for this workshop is "Marketing: Expanding Your Client Base via The Web." Ray Villares of Gravity Free will discuss e-strategy development and search-engine essentials. Family Law in a Nutshell - noon, Sarasota County Judicial Center, 2002 Ringling Blvd., 2nd floor Jury Room. The luncheon, sponsored by the Sarasota County Bar Association, will be presented by the Hon. Lee Haworth. The meeting is designed to help non-lawyers understand family law concepts, including custody, child support and Florida divorce. The cost is $13 per person.

Issues '06 - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. Legislators from Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties will discuss the region's economy, transportation, workforce development and other topics. In addition, Florida Secretary of Community Affairs Thaddeus Cohen will discuss growth-management legislation enacted earlier this year. Cost is $40.
