Architecture
• Beverly St. Hilaire has joined The ADP Group, a Sarasota-based architecture, interior design, and planning firm as a senior associate in interior design. Her projects at ADP include the Pelican's Nest's Bar & Grill renovation, Windstar Country Club's new clubhouse and Kensington Country Club's renovation needs assessment. Prior to joining ADP, St. Hilaire was a principal in her own interior design firm.
Board of Directors
• CHICAGO The RELO® board of directors elected Michael Saunders chairman of the board at its annual conference, succeeding Ronald J. Peltier, who held that post for three years. RELO® is the nation's largest network of leading independent real estate firms, producing over $380 billion in annual home sales.
Commissions
• Lucienne S. Gaufillet, planning department manager for the King Engineering Sarasota office, has been appointed to Bradenton's Planning Commission. The commission is a seven-member panel that reviews development applications for the city and makes recommendations to the Bradenton City Council.
Marketing
• Design Marketing Group hired Beth Graves as production manager. Graves will supervise vendor bids, production schedules and project management from proof to press to final delivery. She previously worked as advertising manager/director of advertising for the master-planned community Lakewood Ranch.
Non-profit
• Manatee Glens, a non-profit organization for mental health and addiction treatment, hired Kenneth M. Brown as finance director. Brown previously worked as senior auditor with Christopher, Smith, Leonard, Bristow & Stanell in Manatee County.
Real Estate
• Oakbrook Properties Inc., one of southwest Florida's largest developers of commercial and master-planned communities, hired Ned E. Dewhirst as a principal and vice president of Florida operations. He'll spearhead the Coconut Point and North Point projects. Dewhirst previously was a principal and senior vice president of Hole Montes Inc., a Southwest Florida civil engineering firm.
• RE/MAX Properties Associate Nicki Conway has successfully completed the Realtor e-PRO course to become one of a few real estate professionals to earn the certification through the National Association of Realtors.
• LWR Communities LLC promoted Sondra Guffey to director of media and communications. Guffey will now be in-charge of the Digital Village intranet, Around the Ranch newsletter and Channel 97 TV. She was previously the director for media relations.
Technology
• 82 Degrees Tech new officers include: Dan Miller, president; Barney Guarino, Tempra Technology, vice president; Doug Goodman, Biolife, secretary; and Michele Halt, Anexio, treasurer. Directors include Kathy Baylis, Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County; Nancy Engel, Manatee Chamber Economic Development Council; Tom Frank, Jackson Hewitt; Marty Guice, DayStar Communications and Bob Hanson, Sarasota County Government / Sarasota Schools.
