Banking

× Jack McClure has been promoted to investment officer at Northern Trust Bank of Florida. Previously, McClure worked with the Weyerhaeuser Co. for five years.

× Michael Grothe was named vice president of commercial lending for SouthTrust Bank in the Suncoast Market. Most recently, Grothe served as vice president at First National Bank and Trust in Manatee.

× William Van Dyk has been appointed senior vice president of commercial lending for the Charlotte region of First Community Bank of America. Van Dyk brings 30 years of commercial banking experience, most recently with Local Oklahoma Bank.

× Joan Kayser has been appointed Harris Private Bank's senior vice president and head of Trust and Estate Administration for the wealth management group's Florida offices. Kayser has nearly 30 years of managing complex trust and estate administration matters, including as a practicing attorney.

Law

× Robert Lincoln has become an associate with the law firm of Levin, Tannenbaum, Wolff, Band, Gates & Pugh. Lincoln was formerly an assistant professor of urban planning at Michigan State University, a senior research associate at the Cantanese Center for Urban & Environmental Solutions and an associate planner with Sarasota County.

× Scott Haas has joined the law firm of Walters Levine Brown Klingensmith & Thomison PA where he will practice in the areas of construction and business litigation in the Tampa office. Haas received a law degree from the University of Miami.

× Jonathan Fleece has been named a principal in the law firm of Blalock, Walters, Held & Johnson PA. Fleece joined the firm three years ago and practices corporate and business law with an emphasis on health law.

× Julie Horstkamp, a Kirk-Pinkerton shareholder, was appointed to the attorney/Realtor committee of the Sarasota County Bar Association. Prior to earning a law degree, Horstkamp spent 18 years as a real estate paralegal.

Construction

× Craig Campbell has been promoted to vice president, responsible for business development and marketing, with Dooley Mack. Campbell has 27 years of experience in the construction industry.

Real Estate

× Bruce Myer, Coldwell Banker Preview International, has been recognized by the Sarasota Board of Realtors as the top real estate agent for the most homes and condominiums sold on Longboat Key. Myer also qualified for Coldwell Banker's International Presidents Premier, which ranks him in the top 1% of all Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide.
