i Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Inc. appointed Sue Jordan manager of the Blackburn Point office. She is also manager of the Palmer Ranch office.
i SKY Sothebyis International Realty formed a new team: Kelly Snyder Quigley and Lisa Marx.
Marx joined SKY CEO Brandyn Herbold when she formed Brandyn & Co. in 2002. Quigley, a longtime marketing executive, served as second vice president of marketing for Northern Trust Bank.

Economic Development
i The Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County hired Patricia Neville as business development manager and Erin Thomas as community-relations manager. Neville previously worked in manufacturing and as director of development for a non-profit organization in Iowa. Thomas previously served as director of marketing and communications for United Way of Manatee County.
Government
i U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris hired Christopher Battle as her new chief of staff and Garrison Courtney as press secretary. Battle previously served as director of congressional and public affairs for the Drug Enforcement Agency. Courtney previously worked as public affairs officer for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Seattle.
Harris also promoted David Host to the position of senior adviser to reflect his central role in coordinating policy, communications, and technology. Host previously served as director of communications for the Florida Department of State.
