× Bobb Hirsch joined Tribridge, a Tampa business consulting company, as director of its South Florida practice. Hirsch was formerly director of business and technology services with Protiviti, a California-based firm; managing director for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Fort Lauderdale and vice president of CitiCorp's Latin American Technology Group.

× David Weiss was appointed chief flight instructor for Jones Flying Services, a flight school in Sarasota.

Financial

× Wendy Spencer, vice president of operations and secretary of Clearwater-based Spencer International Advisors Inc., was appointed to the board of directors for the investment advisory firm. Spencer is one of the founders of Spencer International Ad-visors and a member of its management committee since its 1993 inception.

× John Cotterman was named president of KB Pension Services Inc., an employee benefit consulting firm and part of the KB Group in Sarasota. Cotterman was previously president of Benefit Resources, a retirement plan administration firm that merged with KBPS earlier this year. In addition to managing KBPS, he is responsible for marketing the company's services.

× Ya'Sheaka Campbell joined the St. Petersburg law firm of Abbey, Adams, Byelick, Kiernan, Mueller & Lancaster LLP as an associate. The firm concentrates in the defense areas of liability, malpractice, workers' compensation, employment claims and appeals.

× John West III, a shareholder with the Sarasota law firm of Kirk Pinkerton, was awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell. The Martindale-Hubbell rating is based on lawyers identified by their peers to have a very high level of legal ability and ethical standards.

Medical

× Dr. Robert Dale Livingston Jr. joined Dr. J. Fred Miller III at Gulf Coast Orthopaedics & Sports Surgery, at 600 S. Nokomis Ave., Venice. Livingston is also a staff physician with Bon Secours-Venice HealthPark Surgery Center. Previous to his position at Gulf Coast Orthopaedics, he was chief of surgery at Maine General Center in Waterville.

× Dr. Richard Golub, a Sarasota surgeon specializing in diagnosing and treating colon diseases, was included in the third edition of America's Top Doctors, a national guide to medical specialists in the United States. Less than 1% of U.S. physicians are included in the national guide, produced by Castle Connolly Publishers.
