FORT MYERS — Stilwell Enterprises and Restaurant Group plans to build a 5,000-square-foot restaurant in Fort Myers overlooking Sanibel Island, according to Sheeley Architects, the architecture firm contracted to design it.

The restaurant, to be called SS Hookers, will be an elevated Key West-style building on Summerlin Road near Punta Rassa that will overlook the Gulf of Mexico and Sanibel Island, according to Sheeley.

SS Hookers will feature outdoor decks, a bar, a fish market and a gift shop. It is scheduled to open March 1 and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Stilwell Enterprises, controlled by entrepreneur Sandra Stilwell, operates restaurants in the Fort Myers area. These include Keylime Bistro, Sunshine Seafood Cafe and Wine Bar, RC Otter's Island Eats, Latte Da Coffee Shop, Captiva Pizza, Sunshine Grill and Cantina Captiva.
