ST. PETERSBURG — Lynn Sherman has joined Trenam Law’s St. Petersburg office as a shareholder. According to a press release, her three decades of legal service will bolster the firm’s bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group.
Sherman comes to Trenam from New Orleans-based Adams and Reese LLP, where she was a shareholder and practiced in the firm’s Tampa office. Adams and Reese also has offices in Sarasota and St. Petersburg.
According to the release, Sherman counsels creditors, trustees, businesses and financial institutions in a wide range of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcies, loan modifications and restructurings, foreclosures, out-of-court workouts, collection and enforcement judgments, enforcement of security interests and creditors’ rights litigation.
“We are glad for the opportunity to add such a talented attorney as Lynn to our already-impressive team in the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group,” states Marie Tomassi, managing shareholder of Trenam Law, in the release. “Her wealth of experience and profound understanding of bankruptcy law in Florida bring even more depth to the team, and her commitment to our community and providing the highest quality service and results for our clients make her a perfect fit for our firm.”
