Medical products company acquires area firm

Key Surgical's acquisition of Encompas Unlimited aims to expand the company's endoscopy product offerings.

SARASOTA — Minnesota-based Key Surgical LLC acquired Sarasota-based Encompas Unlimited. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. 

Key Surgical is a global provider of sterile processing and operating room supplies. Its acquisition of Encompas aims to expand the company's endoscopy product offerings, according to a press release. Encompas is Key Surgical's second acquisition since it merged with Interlock Medizintechnik GmbH last year.
